We are psychologists, professional guidance counsellors and therapists, and we utilise our expertise in all that we do. We continuously invest in strengthening our abilities through education. Our methods and approaches differ according to our professions and personalities.
Merja Lehtomaa
Merja has a solid understanding of working life and her specialty is the development of leadership and work communities undergoing change. She also enjoys helping work communities solve different conflicts.
Merja is a specialist psychologist (PsL), an occupational health psychologist and community professional guidance counsellor. She also has pedagogical qualifications and is a certified board member. As a researcher she has explored qualitative research methods and she is also an author of the books Kokemuksen tutkimus (Researching experience) and Työyhteisön keittokirja (Cookbook for work communities). Merja’s working language is Finnish.
As the CEO of Konstituutti Merja’s duty is to ensure that all our services are high-quality and produced with joy.
Susanna Säilynkangas
Susanna has graduated as a MSc in Psychology from the Netherlands and is now complementing her studies in the University of Turku. She is enthusiastic about developing and producing different services to increase occupational well-being and works in Konstituutti coaching teams and individuals as well as a therapist.
Susanna is bilingual (Finnish and English) and her special strengths are sense of humour and a genuinely delightful smile.
Soila Porkamaa
After graduating as a psychologist, Soila has also gained qualifications as an occupational health psychologist and sport psychology coach for athletes. In addition, she has experience in recruitment and psychological assessment.
Soila enjoys the versatility of working as a psychologist, from psychological testing to brief therapy. Soila offers services in Finnish and English.
Tiina Ekman
Tiina is our Espoo-based team-member – her experience as a psychologist, trainer and developer of work communities is lengthy and broad (www.psykologit.fi).
Tiina is also an author (Huijarisyndrooma / Impostor syndrome) and psychotherapist. She primarily works remotely, but meets her clients live in Kokkola once a month. Tiina works in both Finnish and English.
Päivi Montgomery
Päivi is a specialist psychologist and she has a lengthy experience in work and organisational psychology, career coaching, recruitment and training. Her specialty is supporting individuals switching roles within their organisation.
Working with individuals with partial work ability is near and dear to Päivi’s heart, she has received recognition in 2023 for her efforts towards improving the equality of recruitment and diversity of working life. Päivi’s working languages are Finnish and English.
Hannamaija Rauhala
Hannamaija has a long background in psychologist work and she is also a qualified psychotherapist, TRE-coach and clinical hypnotherapist. As a psychologist she is interested in improving interpersonal interaction and problem-solving.
Hannamaija enjoys trainings and working with groups, she thrives when people realise the opportunities of change within themselves. Hannamaija provides her services in Finnish and always wants to meet in person.
Juha Pohjonen
Juha is a specialist-level family therapist and his specialties include his deep understanding of difficult interpersonal interactions, improving communication and resolving conflicts.
Juha has received feedback for his calm demeanour as well as his ability to create a safe and confidential environment in which sharing difficult topics is less daunting. Juha enjoys working as a professional guidance counsellor for individuals in the social and health sector, he also provides couples’ and individual brief therapy. Juha’s working language is Finnish.
Eeva Päiviö
Eeva strengthens our team as a professional guidance counsellor with a long background in leadership and management in the public sector. She has a Master’s degree in Philosophy and her specialty is the development of leadership skills of individuals working in the public sector. She has worked as a professional guidance counsellor for different professionals, supervisors and employees.
